GIX
GIX Coating Steel sheet (GIX)
It is produced by alloying zinc, aluminum and magnesium, then hot dipping it on a steel sheet which is designed for all applications requiring high corrosion resistance.
The alloy plating of GIX consisted of optimum proportion of aluminium and magnesium verified over a long period of time. (Zinc 94%, Al 4%, Mg 2%)

GIX is a product produced by the supreme plating technique so, it has a better surface appearance than existing GI and has better corrosion resistance by 5~7 times.

Characteristics
- With effects from magnesium and aluminum alloy, it provides excellent corrosion resistance not only on gilded surfaces but also on bended parts.
- A variety of process are available such as roll forming, pressing and welding.
- With its superior cohesion between a gilded layer and paint, it shows excellent performance as a material of PCM color steel sheets for interior and exterior construction materials.
- Added magnesium and aluminium allow spangles to be refined and increase its brilliance, which give it a differentiated appearance compared to GIs.
